  Alan G Stern

  DDS

  Dr. Alan Stern has more than 40 years of experience as a dentist. He continues to study with the masters of restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and the oral-systemic connection. Dr. Stern's four decades of experience have now enabled him to become a coach and speaker for the dental profession. He has authored a book and speaks to audiences nationwide. Dr. Stern originally decided to become a dentist through his best friend’s father. His inspiration and sheer delight in dentistry motivated Dr. Stern to pursue a career in the profession.

  Erica Margolias

  Associate Dentist

  Dr. Erica was born and raised in central New Jersey. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for her undergraduate degree, then went on to complete her doctoral training at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She later completed a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. In her free time, Dr. Erica enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Erica takes pride in building relationships with her patients while aiming to keep visits both comfortable and stress-free. She is very excited to be welcomed into Dr. Stern’s dental family and looks forward to making you smile!

  Fran Stern

  Front Office

  Fran is the warm and welcoming voice you hear when you call our office. She will listen to you, discuss all of your concerns, and help you to schedule your visits to our office. Fran and Alan Stern got married one week before he started his dental school education and has been at his side personally and professionally for his entire career. Fran and Dr. Stern opened the office together in 1987. During that time, she has served both as Dr. Stern’s assistant and as his front desk person. With 36 years of experience in dentistry, Fran understands just about every aspect of what we do and can help with all of your logistical, financial, and even dental questions. Fran and Alan have two adult children, Neil and Tracey, who are celebrating four decades of marriage, and are going stronger and better every day.”My joy at work comes from listening to you, getting to know you, and making our office a big part of the quality of your life. Alan and I enjoy great health and I am here to help our team make that happen for you

  Jessica Raper

  Dental hygienist

  Jessica is one amazing dental hygienist. Her gentle, effective technique is only outdone by her sincere care for everyone she comes in contact with. Born in Suffern, NY, Jessica graduated from West Liberty University in West Liberty, W. Va with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Jessica came to us in 2008. She and her husband, Brandon live in Atlantic Highlands with their daughters Lilly and Evie. In her very minimal spare time, Jessica loves being with her family. “My favorite part of my job is developing relationships with the people I see here. I love hearing about their lives and families. I also love seeing the improvement in their health as our relationship grows."

  Alison Salek

  Dental Assistant

  We are proud to have Alison Salek as our Dental Assistant. A native of West Long Branch, Alison graduated from Shore Regional High School and attended Ithaca College. She worked in hospitality before entering Dental Assisting in 2016. “What I like the most about our practice is the people we care for. I love interacting with them and making their lives better while they make mine better, too. I’m proud to be a part of Dr. Alan’s office because I get to make a difference in people’s lives every day” In her spare time, Alison likes hiking, music, skateboarding, and being with friends. She loves dogs and is notorious for dog sitting for any of her friends.
